HBC Educational Building OPEN HOUSE!!

Come out and celebrate the Open House of the HBC Educational Building! The event is planned for August 27th at 12 noon at the Educational Building.  Hot dogs, snacks, drinks and music by Cory Pearson. Come out and enjoy a time of celebration and fellowship. 

And now a message from Pastor Shane. 

Psalm 9:1 I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvelous works.  

Over the last 2 years we have worked tirelessly on our educational building “Brent Building”. So many hours of sweat, tears, prayers and even blood have gone into this project. I’ll never forget watching Brad Gilchrist hauling out old sheet rock the day after being diagnosed with cancer, or Hugh Dell dragging out garbage while using his cane. Steve Williams having to have surgery on his arm from working, thank you Robbie, Bryson & Rhonda who have helped work on this behind the scenes every single day, thank you to builders for Christ, you are amazing! thank you building committee / deacons who from the very first told me to expect the devil to attack, thank you men for your steadfastness, so many people have given so generously to this project, all I can say is Thank you for giving and working for the Lord. Thank you to each family who has stood behind their commitments, because of you we have not had to borrow one dime for renovation. I am so honored and humbled today to announce that we have passed our final inspection and have been given a license to occupy by the fire marshal’s office. We have faced obstacles, made mistakes, built, tore down and rebuilt again, but we have done our best to honor God and follow God, every step of the way. Let this be a lesson to all.  

Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
